What is the best method of douching? Given our anatomy, what is the most efficient way of ensuring you are totally clean?

I find douching an interesting subject because, in my view, it is an integral part of fisting, key to its enjoyment. It is something we do first and then (hopefully) get out of the way and forget. There are those who take a different view, but for me the smallest particle of shit can ruin an otherwise promising session. That is not because I am phased by brown stuff, but because I believe the key to really enjoyable fisting depends on the confidence of knowing you are completely clean; I think you can only begin to open up fully when you have that faith that your guts are not about to let you down. I'm sure many people feel this way - it is sort of stating the obvious.

But how far do you go with douching? Can anyone tell me their approach? It can take me well over an hour to get clean. Of course the basics are to swill in and out enough water until it repeatedly comes out clear. I find that when I get to that point it is best to leave it for half an hour and re-check. I sort of become aware of a fantastic pre-fisting emptiness when I am fully clean, a sort of abandonment to the craving for fist. At this point I pump in some water-based lube and I always think it is best to leave at least an hour before taking a fist: the rectum and colon have to settle from the douching experience and start creating some natural lubrication, also any remaining excess water needs to be reabsorbed.

Problems can arise if you don't know when exactly you are likely to get fisted. You don't want to fully prepare youself and then have to repeat the procedure, maybe in someone else's bathroom. So my technique is literally to fast for a period of time before fisting; this itself can lead to a form of 'high'. After douching I will sometimes take a codeine to slow the digestive system down.

Can anyone share what their technique is and give any tips?

It is pretty well a case of personal preferences and experiences. Here is one take:

A really good clean out will be about 2 qts. of warm water with about 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice added. There will be some cramping, but it will really clean you out well. Soap is irritating, but can be fun to use, however the lemon juice works so well. Follow this enema with plain water enemas until clear.

Hey Carnal,

Welcome to the forums..... Good questions but they have been asked and answered time and time again.... Do a search and you'll get way more info as opposed to waiting for multiple responses.

Take one (or more) glycerin suppository. 30 min.- 1 hour. If needed follow-up with one or more water enemas. As stated , plenty of info. available.

It's difficult to know when to stop. I usually flush out three times and even then I've had an accident on a few occasions. It's a real bummer
You are right, knowing you are clean does help confidence.
Clearing out the rectum and lower colon should be enough, and one enema treatment should handle that ... but we all like to be sure and often end up putting more water in with the result that it goes higher up and brings more stuff down. Theoretically you would have to clean out the entire digestive tract to be truly clean.
The most dangerous (for fisting fun that is) is to get water trapped high up in the colon. If it comes down as it surely will during fisting you're going to get a mess.
I think the best approach is to do the very deep high colonic enema a good 4 - 5 hours before fisting. You can follow this up with less probing flushes later on just to make sure no residual material has come down in the meantime. Any trapped water is likely to work its way out in that length of time.

I'm not keen on additives in the enema, some people say a tablespoon of salt will help you maintain the electrolytic balance of your blood though and that makes sense to me.
