Folsom Street Fair

My Partner and I have made up our minds to go to San Fran for the Folsom Street Fair and will be there for 4 days before and leave on the Monday after.
Can any one tell me of any good places to go for fisting fun? and I have seen many pics and you see guys naked or with there arses and dicks hanging out does this realy happen that much?
I know it is a leather event and leather or such like is what lots of guys ware so will be off to Mr S leather when we get there to get some more gear to ware. So just want to find out if any one has been and if you have any good info to share.

The most important thing I can tell you about the fair is to get there EARLY, and I mean right when it opens. This gives you a chance to wonder around, see all the vendors and people watch. A few hours after the fair opens, it becomes wall-to-wall people and you can't move.

I lived in San Francisco for 3 years, from '96-'99 and attended the fair all three years. It is a spectacle of leather and fetish wear of every imaginable kind. From the "straight lookers" fully clothed to guys walking around wearing nothing but a cock ring and a smile. While there is certainly a lot of action right out in the street it is usually of the tamer variety. I witnessed a lot of cock sucking and water sports play right out in the open. Not to mention a lot of flogging and the like. But, from my experience, most of the hardcore stuff takes place in the dark corners and back rooms of the bars that line the edges of the Fair. Most notably the Hole in the Wall, My Place (which looks like it may have closed since I lived there. Oh the memories!!!) and the infamous back "patio" of the Powerhouse.

Just as an FYI the bars do have a "no sex on the premesis policy" but it does happen. I was kicked out of the Hole in the Wall one year during Folsom for being down on my knees and sucking dick. I never actually left though! :D I just went and found my friends and blended in with them for awhile.

In addition, the city of San Francisco, or perhaps the SFPD, states that there is not suppose to be any full nudity. There should be at least a one inch strap covering the ass crack and if memory serves me correctly a 3 inch triangle covering the front. Although I have seen complete nudity and have never seen anyone arrested for it. My boyfriend worked security in 1998 and there was no trouble with nudity that year. Please keep in mind that was 10-12 years ago and things may have changed. I truly beleive that San Francisco puts the most tolerant police officers on patrol for the street fairs and most tend to look the other way. Just don't mistake the real thing for a costume and start rubbing up a real police officer. But then again, we are talking about San Francisco.....

My advise is to arrive early, stay sober and have fun!!!
