I have this rash on my face since a couple of days and I'm not quite sure if it's caused by poppers or if it's herpes or some kind of allergy. If it would be herpes then the location would be quite odd I think, it's next to my nose and not on my lip where I would normally have the herpes (hsv type 1). It's not painful at all, it itches only a little, but it looks nasty (I'm not sure how to explain what it looks like exactly in english, but it's a little red and it's above the surface of my skin, if that makes sense, and it's quite big, app. 1 cm around, it doesn't 'leak' like herpes normally would but it looks a little moist although I don't think it actually is moist).
The day before I noticed it I did use poppers although I don't recall spilling poppers over my face, it might as well have happened though, I'm really not sure.
How can I determine if this rash is the result of chemical burn from the poppers or if it's herpes or something else? Any advice (besides visiting my docter which I will do anyway if it hasn't healed next week)?
Because I'm not sure what it is I don't know if I should put some kind of cream on it or not so for now I only shower and use the liquid soap and face cream that I normally use.
