i have a number of fisting stories i've saved from various free sites.....what are the requirements for posting them....as long as i post the author credit is that ok? i don't want to get in any trouble....they are not from pay sites

If these stories are amateur stories from free sites and it didn't specifically say that it's not allowed to reproduce the stories then it's okay if you post the stories, with the author credit. If you are copying/pasting the stories, please make sure that the text formatting is okay, edit if necessary, thanks.

i'm not a copyright expert....if they did not put "copyright of...." or some other verbage, is that fair game? many of them i got for semi-public places like usenet.....i probably have 500 or more stories in one folder alone...maybe i should make a zip file and post a link to that?

Those stories should be okay to post. In case someone contacts us asking us to remove on or more stories then we will of course.

I'd prefer it if you just posted the stories in the stories forum instead of putting them in a zip file. You don't have to post them all on the same day of course, that's up to you.
